Let’s face it: The NFT space moves really fast. Considering how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFTs might as well be a month IRL.

Don’t get us wrong — the more people onboarded into the space, the merrier. But because of the constant influx of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches, and general happenings.

Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you as we pull together a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops you definitely don’t want to miss. Here’s what to look out for this week.

Remembrance of Korean Boyhood

Who: Chase Tongyull

What: 320 unique NFTs

When: August 8 at 11:00 a.m. ET

Where: OpenSea

Why: Remembrance of Korean Boyhood by Chae Tongyull is a collection of 320 unique NFTs that are based on the reflections of a young boy growing up in Post-War Korea. Having left his country for the US in the 1970s, this collection is a mediation on Tongyull’s own journey through life. Each individual NFT’s background will change over time, representing a tapestry of the “self” in constant, colorful motion. Pre-sale for eligible holders

DeGods Season III

Who: DeGods

What: An art refresh. When DeGods comes out with Season III, holders will own IP for four art iterations. There will be roughly 40k art pieces in a 10k collection, along with some surprises.

When: August 9

Where: Degods.com

Why: An upgrade in the existing art. Frank DeGods has said that “DeGods Season III will have the same traits as the current DeGods in a reimagined style/aesthetic. The reason for most post-reveal dips is when people reveal commons and floor them. Season III is not random. It’s also non-dilutive.” Frank also added in a podcast with Marc Colcer that one of the goals for season III is to “rebrand the brand, gain attention, and re-evaluation in a new light.”
