Christie’s has continued its journey into the world of crypto-art with the addition of two NFT collections to their Fall auction. Following the recent announcement that a full set of Curio Cards would be added to the sale, the auction house giant is now also bringing generative art project Art Blocks to the table.

Three sets of Art Blocks Curated will now be included in Christie’s Post-War to Present sale. The project is one of the most successful on Ethereum, garnering more than 170,000+ ETH ($500 million) in sales volume to date. Full sets of it’s first three collections, estimate unknown, will be available to bid on come October 1st.

Over the past year, we’ve witnessed Beeple, CryptoPunks, Fewocious and more auctioned off at Christie’s. As more and more notable digital assets find their way through the institutions doors, Christie’s will now be accepting bids in ETH during the live auction – making it the first of any leading auction house to do so.

“Against the backdrop of the NFT explosion, Generative Art has emerged as one of the most visually and intellectually compelling aesthetic movements in contemporary art. The leading voice in the Generative Art movement is inarguably the Art Blocks Curated project.”
