Let’s face it: The NFT space moves really fast. Considering how quickly things can change in the metaverse, a week in NFTs might as well be a month IRL.

Don’t get us wrong — the more people onboarded into the space, the merrier. But because of the constant influx of great art and ideas, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with all the news, launches, and general happenings.

Well, you can put the days of endless Twitter and Discord scrolling behind you, as we’ll be coming up with a weekly list of upcoming NFT drops you definitely don’t want to miss.

Head5

Who: Deadmau5

What: 5,555 collectibles

Why: EDM heavyweight Deadmau5 has been an avid part of the NFT community for quite some time. Having dropped numerous collections throughout 2021, the iconic producer/DJ is now rolling out his first large-scale PFP project, head5.

Brain Drops

Who: Justin Trimble

What: AI-generated art

When: Nov. 15 @ 3 p.m. ET

Where: Braindrops.cloud

Why: Prominent NFT influencer/collector Justin Trimble launches his new AI generative art platform, Brain Drops. Featuring collections from some of the most beloved artists in the NFT community, the first Brain Drops release will be a blind drop featuring around 1,000 NFTs.

Forced Freedom

Who: Andrea Bonaceto

What: Auction, raffle, open edition

When: Nov. 15 @ 6:30 p.m. ET

Where: Nifty Gateway

Why: Andrea Bonaceto has become a prominent name in the NFT space in 2021. Bonaceto has released his NFTs soley via Nifty Gateway, and returns to the platform for his fourth collection, which features an exclusive raffle for collectors of his previous pieces.

Why: MerryModz is a holiday-themed generative NFT collection from Tom Bilyeu’s Impact Theory Studios. Set to launch just in time for the holidays, MM was created by Bilyeu and celebrated artist/creator Francisco Herrera, who has worked with Disney, DreamWorks, Marvel and more.

Hot Wheels NFT Garage

Why: Beloved toy brand Hot Wheels is coming to the blockchain with its first NFT drop. Collectible as either a four-pack ($15) or 10-pack ($35) of animated tokens, each Hot Wheels NFT comes in one of four rarity tiers, including Base, Rare, Premium and Treasure Hunt.

Who: Musketon

What: Collection mechanics TBA

Where: MakersPlace

Why: Bert Musketon is a visual artist from Belgium who focuses on vector graphics and intricate details. For his second NFT drop on MakersPlace, Musketon offers up a collection of NFTs that satirize popular social media platforms.

Where: Nifty Gateway

Why: Viral YouTuber and multimedia artist Vexx is returning to Nifty Gateway for his third collection on the platform. Since his first drop in April, he’s gained traction within the NFT world, and this forthcoming release will include at least two limited edition NFTs designed to “evolve with the passing of time.” Each edition sold will also come complete with an internet-connected display.

Man vs. Machine

Who: Trevor Jones & Ice Cube

What: Four AR-enabled NFTs, more TBA

When: Nov. 17 @ 6:30 p.m. ET

Where: Nifty Gateway

Why: Trevor Jones has become an absolute superstar in the world of non-fungibles. With his Bitcoin Angel piece racking up millions in sales volume, becoming one of the most popular mainstream examples of an NFT, the prolific artist has now teamed up with hip-hop legend Ice Cube on an interesting new multimedia NFT collection.

Mini-Pufts

Who: Ghostbusters: Afterlife

Why: In celebration of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the film franchise dropped unique NFTs for a whopping 12 days leading up to the premiere of the movie. As its final NFT drop, Ghostbusters: Afterlife is releasing a collection of 10,500 PFP NFTs depicting miniature versions of the iconic Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.

Yes, We Are the Champions!

Why: Javier Arrés is a world-renowned motion/GIF artist who has been minting art for years, and is considered an OG in the NFT space. With his latest drop on MakersPlace, Arrés has collaborated with Marca — the leading sports media company in Spain — animating iconic Marca moments in his cyberpunk, retro-futurism style.

Planet Karma

When: Nov. 19 @ 6:30 p.m. ET

Where: Nifty Gateway

Why: WhIsBe’s is returning to Nifty Gateway for possibly his most innovative NFT endeavor to date. On Nov. 19, the road to the WhIsBeVerse will reopen with the sale of 5,0000 Karma Keys. These keys will act as the prequel to collecting one of the possible 11,111 unique 3D animated Vandalz to come. With this project, WhIsBe will be implementing a revolutionary new release format that focuses on security, fairness, user experience and (maybe best of all) no gas fees!
