What’s Happening at NFT.NYC? Here’s nft now’s Event Roundup

It’s become apparent over the past few weeks that this year’s NFT.NYC is going to be quite an event. With 500-plus speakers including celebrities such as Timbaland and Busta Rhymes, to NFT stars including Noah Davis and Metakovan, the annual conference will undoubtedly be one to remember.

Yet, among all the fanfare, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to navigate the lists of speakers, events and activations. So to help NFT enthusiasts and maximalists of all types get through this year’s wealth of festivities, we’ve created a quick hitter list of NFT.NYC’s most exciting and influential happenings.

Nov. 1: Pre-Parties

Proof of Party

OneOf hosts their pre NFT.NYC afterparty featuring art and live music from Blond:ish, ThankYouX, Troyboi, FVCKRENDER, Haywyre, Slime Sunday and more. Note: RSVP required to attend.

FWB Presents: NFT.NYC

Where: Good Room – 98 Meserole Ave, Brooklyn

Friends With Benefits will host their pre NFT.NYC afterparty featuring DJ sets from Caroline Polachek, Pussy Riot, Channel Tres and more. Note: RSVP (including ownership of 5 $FWB tokens) required to attend.

NFTs at Auction

Noah Davis, Christie’s Post-War and Contemporary Art specialist (and self-proclaimed NFT Guy), speaks on guiding the legacy auction house into the realm of NFTs.

Gary Vee & Jordee Rich Fireside Chat

As part of the NFT.NYC opening ceremony, Gary Vee and Jordee Rich sit down for a fireside chat at one of the conference’s three venues.

Pepe Is Art

Scarce City’s open house gallery of vintage Rare Pepes displayed and auctioned in physical form with their digital counterparts.

3D NFTs – Sculptures, Holograms and Toilets!

Chad Knight, Jacob Marko, Jules Urbach, Nicole Ruggiero, Rebecca Rose and Sam Clover speak on a panel about all things 3D art and NFTs.

Karsen Woods, crypto artist, NFT influencer and Chief Experience Officer at 888 The New World, explains her analytical and sociological approach to the NFT ecosystem.

Dreamverse is an NFT festival produced by Metapurse, the largest NFT fund in the world. The activation will feature NFTs from 150 artists, a unique experience of Beeple’s Everydays: First 5000 Days, DJ sets headlined by Alesso and more. Note: This is a ticketed event.

NFT Marketplace Events

Although still to be announced, OpenSea, Nifty Gateway and SuperRare will all be hosting their own unique events to close out NFT.NYC. Make sure to keep an eye on their websites and socials for details!
